Palazzo Tommaso Lardelli e Giacomo Matossi (Station 3 Rundgang Hildesheimer)
The double palazzo Lardelli-Matossi shows most clearly the influence of the Rennaissance architect Andrea Palladio (1508-1580) on the work of Giovanni Sottovia.

According to Wolfgang Hildesheimer, it is best admired in moonlight:
"Another house, on the other hand, a mighty, two-winged palace, is considered by moonlight; the façade is pale, the loggia dark, and the imagination only needs to take a small step to see Leporello among the bushes waiting for his master to seduce the lady of the house inside."
