The programme includes "Alp Rabauz" by MARKUS FLÜCKIGER for Schwyzerörgeli and string orchestra – cheeky, cheeky and unconventional – as the word "Rabauz" suggests.
KRISTINA BRUNNER was commissioned by the renowned "Stubete am See" festival at the Tonhalle Zurich to write the composition for the 2024 Ländler Orchestra. A sample of this will also be heard in this programme. ALFRED FELDER's "Sagemattler Waltz" is a combination of traditional Swiss music and classical string orchestra literature. And with the Divertimento by LEO WEINER, a musical look is also taken across the borders to Hungary.
