Oratorio Sant'Anna

The Oratory of Sant'Anna is located in the centre of Poschiavo, on the south side of the church of San Vittore Mauro. Behind a loggia, which was converted into an ossuary in 1903, is a longitudinal building that consists in a well-coordinated sequence of three surprised room units of decreasing height lined up one behind the other and is one of the most exquisite Baroque sacred buildings in Graubünden. Particularly noteworthy is the illusionistic ceiling painting of the altar house vault, created by Lorenzo Poccioli from Valtellina around 1760.

In July and August, the Oratory of Sant'Anna is open to visitors on Wednesday afternoons.
