Obersee Lake

The Obersee lake, on 1,739m above sea level, is the bigger of the two lakes which are located within the village of Arosa. Both lakes still belong to the civil community Chur. The lake provides a home for numerous water and reed birds as well diving ducks and most European swimming ducks. During the summer season the lake is open for rowing and paddle boats. In addition there is a water show three times a week. During the winter season the lake becomes an event location for several events like the traditional horse race on snow, the winter golf tournament, the hot-air balloon week...
