Nicole Bernegger & Band

Nicole Bernegger – that's an outstanding band with an electrifying voice and an irresistibly grooving live soul train. Since 2019, the music of the Swiss soul troupe has been released on their own label "Alien Pearl Records" and while the septet is currently still on tour with "BACK TO YOU" through clubs and festivals, the new album, which will be released in autumn 2025, is already being created.

Vintage soul, retro pop, Motown, Stax and a pinch of Woodstock, lovingly incorporated into her own band sound, that's Nicole Bernegger. On her current album "Back To You" you will find passionately powerful ballads, smooth radio perennial favorites, but also delicately transparent, warmly instrumented pieces that show Nicole Bernegger's musical diversity: this is soul music - earthy, passionate and "tangible".

One reason for this noticeable authenticity is that Nicole Bernegger has taken the production of her albums into her own hands. While these have so far been created in England or Germany with external producers, «Back To You» has already been written and recorded in Basel, co-produced by Luc Montini (e.g. The Srucialists/Stereoluchs) at One Drop Studio, mixed by Serge Krebs and mastered by Dan Suter (Echochamber).

And the new album, which will be released in 2025, also comes from the in-house "Soulkitchen": While the love for the 60s is still present, the sound aesthetics of the 70s can also be heard here. Nicole Bernegger is soul that is earthy, warm, powerful and as timeless as it is contemporary. Sharon Jones and the Dapkings, Leon Bridges, The Teskey Brothers or Bruno Mars's Silk Sonic fits.

Before the new album is released, the seven-member soul troupe can be seen in various Swiss clubs and, in addition to the songs from the last album "Back To You", will also give a little foretaste of the upcoming work: Nicole's Soultrain is steady rolling and 2025 will be her year stay tuned!
