Neuhof (Cas'alva)

Its age can no longer be determined. But it is known that those who were buried by the plague in 1629 were buried very close to the house – the cemetery near the church could no longer hold the many plague victims.

The field name is also special. As one of only two, it goes back to a German word: Neuhof indicates that here stood the Meierhof, i.e. the residence of the Meier, who administered the Feldiser Höfe in the service of the Bishop of Chur.
