Wegbeschreibung

The hike starts at parking lot 3 and the PostAuto stop «Vallun Chafuol (P3)» (1766 m above sea level) on the Ofenpass road. After the stop, the path descends towards Spöl and at the first fork turns right through a larch mountain pine forest with some Engadin pines. The route descends towards the Ova Spin balancing basin and follows the water for several hundred meters. Then it climbs again, over the small Alp Margun Grimmels (1657 m above sea level) up to the Ofenpass road. At the former parking lot 2, the route crosses the road and leads above the road back in the direction of Vallun Chafuol. Then the path branches off eastward to Grimmels, while the route to Vallun Chafuol continues through the forests southward and after a gentle descent reaches the starting point again.
