Beschreibung
We prepare ourselves for a varied hike on side roads, neighbourhood paths and groomed winter hiking trails. After starting at the sports centre, we hike past the Sogn Giachen chapel near Cuoz and continue via Buretsch to Segnas. The original name of the village is probably derived from the Latin word signum, which means signpost or marker. Because the village was spared from fires during the French invasion in 1799, the farmhouses, which are now several hundred years old, have been preserved - and are still lovingly looked after today. A little further on towards Acletta and above the Sax ski meadow, skiers may cross our path. But we are quickly back on the safe side as we continue through Acletta to Muntatsch. Rumour has it that this is the most beautiful viewpoint near the village. After the little valley in Clavaniev, we reach the houses in this hamlet and finish our hike a little later at the sports centre.
Geheimtipp
Since the route runs on the sunny side of the valley, the trail can quickly become muddy or icy. Hiking poles are recommended.
Refreshments in Segnas and Acletta.
Sicherheitshinweis
The neighborhood and side streets are mostly snow-free
