Below the rocky peaks of Piz Miez and Piz Caschleglia is the Lai Encarden. The brave can easily dare a fresh bath in the crystal clear water. It also has enough space at the lake to spread out a blanket in case you want to stay longer.
Hiking time: From the Medelserhütte, 30 minutes. Ideal for a walk before or after dinner in the cottage.
