Beschreibung
The Hexensee or "Lai dalla stria", as it is called in the Romance language, is a very extraordinary mountain lake. The bright rounded rocks and the deep blue of the water create a unique contrast. And when there is no wind, the rugged rocks of Piz Nair are reflected in it. A photo subject of a special kind.
In the vicinity of the lake, there are mossy spots with rare flowers between the rocks. Crystals can also be found, because the area is very rich in minerals.
Hiking time: From Rueras, 3 hours (since 2021 the hiking trail to the lake is signposted white/red)

The lake is snow-free from about the beginning of July, but all around the snowfields remain for quite a long time.
