Lag Serein, Sumvitg

Lag Serein is located near Sumvitg above Alp da Glivers at 2,260 m above sea level. The name "serein" means clear, bright in Romansh and indeed the lake impresses with its clear and immaculate water, which varies in colour depending on the sun's rays. This wonderful mountain lake invites you to enjoy and linger.
Access to Lag Serein is via S.Benedetg. In front of the chapel of S. Benedetg there is a gravel parking lot next to the ruins of the chapel Sogn Benedetg and park there. From there, the hike leads up to Crap Nér and on to Alp Glivers. From Alp Glivers you can reach the Lag Serein in about an hour and a half.
