Laaxersee

Ils lags is romansh for "the lakes", hence the lake in the middle of the village contributed considerably to the name Laax. In summer, the lake on 1016 meters above sea level invites you to take a cold bath. Further, the bathing area of Lake Laax offers a big lawn for sunbathing with trees, a diving board, a beach volleyball field, a separate bathing area for children, a raft in the middle of the lake, as well as a kiosk and even a petting zoo!
