Von Laax über die Sonnenhänge der Surselva zum Panixersee

Off to the Watterfalls at Lag da Pigniu! Laax Murschetg, the ideal place to fortify yourself in one of the numerous cafés before the tour. The tour begins directly with an ascent to Falera, parallel to the Senda dil Dragun, up through the forest to the holiday resort. Passing alpine meadows and mountain forests, you reach the village of Ruschein, where you can refresh yourself at one of the numerous fountains. From here we go up to Siat with the Caplutta Sogn Glieci, which invites you to linger and offers a unique photo motif. After a short descent, we reach the Panix valley, at the end of which is the reservoir. Along the shore we go to the impressive waterfalls, here we have the ideal scenery for a successful snack. Leaving Lag da Pigniu behind you, you turn off towards Andiast about 1 km after the dam wall and follow the road to Rueun, where you cross the Rhine at Rueun station and follow the river bank first to Ilanz and then to Schluein. In Ilanz you have the option of stopping off at one of the many restaurants and cafés. Passing the Schieberg castle ruins, the route climbs up to Laax. The ascent is long and strenuous, but offers a unique view of the Rhine Gorge at the Tuora vantage point.
