The starting point is located at the Grono PostBus stop, Bivio Calanca, reachable from Arbedo-Castione and San Bernardino.

For those arriving by car: From the A13 highway, take exit 38 at Roveredo. From the roundabout continue north until the junction for Calanca.

Just after the start of the Val Calanca road there are some parking lots on the right.
