Beschreibung
Sound installation "Silent Saw"
In 1920, a new, covered saw was built in Tschiertschen. It rarely wakes up thanks to the power of the water and makes a lot of noise. And what else? Can you hear the silence all around? Or does the saw never really fall silent? This station invites you to explore the supposed silence with all your senses with a larch wood funnel – designed by Studio Capisci.
Design & implementation: Seraina Hügli (1995, Chur) & Lucas Pfister (1993, Chur) as Studio Capisci
Accompaniment: Marie-Claire Niquille (1959, Chur/Tschiertschen)
Design: René Plump Holzbau
