Kapelle St. Georg

The pretty chapel dates back to 1430. Conversions and renovations have changed its appearance several times. Next to the entrance, a field altar stands out, which speaks of many believers. The interior is surprisingly large and bright. The hill may have been a place of worship due to the prevailing energies. The early settlement of the place is evidenced by a prehistoric hearth and animal bones, whereas the Romans left behind a cistern, remains of walls, coins, etc. At the end of Roman rule, St. George was expanded into a fortified church for the protection of the population.
