During a walk, Natalie Sgier from Bonaduz paintings in the Castrischer Bahnhof underpass catch the eye. No fresh ones. The paintings on one side of the underpass are already 20 years old – and accordingly faded.

In short, the 28-year-old embarks on a concept that she later presents to the municipality of Ilanz and the Rhaetian Railway. And it is well received. Sgier is allowed to redesign the wall.

Off to nature

Because autumn in particular takes the reins, Sgier relies on this season as a theme and on warm colours for her sprayers. Her work is intended to ensure that light and warmth are not forgotten in the cold winter time. In addition to the actual work, she puts the idea into practice within four weeks.

During her work, many passers-by express their joy at Sgier's work. This goes so far that they are willing to donate the material to her. The passers-by come by and hand over a small financial support to Sgier.
