The starting signal for this great gravel tour is given in Vella, the main town of the Lumnezia. Wind- and weather-defying stables, neat mountain huts and small villages make you forget the effort. There are always three locals on this ride: Piz Terri, Péz Regina and Piz Ault. They have always demanded road tolls in the form of beads of sweat.

Beschreibung

There is no easy rolling in on this Val Lumnezia tour, because right from the start the path leads in only one direction. Upwards! But with every turn of the pedals, the mountain summit comes closer. And once you have arrived at the culmination point of the exit, the exertions are quickly forgotten either way.

After the strenuous ascent on the sunny side of the Lumnezia, the long descent and the change to the opposite side of the valley follows. The path leads through the dreamy settlements of Surin and Silgin. The roads are now partly made of gravel and make the gravel heart beat faster.

Finally, there is another ascent to the starting point. But with the goal in mind, Vella is reached in no time.

Geheimtipp

-In summer it is worth getting up early, because the first ascent is completely exposed to the sun.

-The tour is also fun to drive in the opposite direction.

-Before Silgin you can treat yourself to a highlight: Ride over the technically not too difficult single trail and take the imposing suspension bridge with you.
