Grosse Lumnezia-Runde: Vella-Alp da Lumbrein-Vrin-Surin-Vella (Gravel)

There is no easy curling on this Val Lumnezia tour, because right from the start the path leads only in one direction. Upwards! But with every turn of the pedal, the mountain peak comes closer. And once you have arrived at the culmination point of the ride, the hardships are quickly forgotten either way.

After the strenuous ascent on the sunny side of the Val Lumnezia follows the long descent and the change to the opposite side of the valley. The trail passes through the dreamy settlements of Surin and Silgin. The roads are now partly made of gravel and make the gravel heart beat faster.

Finally, there is another ascent to the starting point. But with the goal in mind, Vella is reached in no time.

In summer it is worth getting up early, because the first ascent is completely exposed to the sun.

The tour is also fun driven in the opposite direction.
