At the old Bad Fideris you can grill at an open fireplace. Wood is available.

At the barbecue area in the shade of deciduous trees, the short story of the old Bad Fideris can be read on an information board. The healing water, an iron soda acid, can be pumped up and tasted about 100 meters above the barbecue area.

There is a driving ban on the road along the Arieschbachtobel. There are also two hiking trails that start above the village in the Kulm area at Schwinbodä and lead into the street shortly before the barbecue area.
