Great Masters

The Stadtmusik Chur presents an exciting programme of top-class brass music at the Chur Theatre. The title "Great Masters" says it all. We will dedicate ourselves to the great masters of brass music and will perform works by Gustav Holst, Alfred Reed, Philipp Sparke and Jacob de Haan, among others. The concert will be complemented by classical composers, who have been rewritten by great arrangers for brass music.

Under the direction of Davide de Stefani, the orchestra of the Stadtmusik Chur, which has around 50 people, will take you into the world of symphonic wind music. The concert will be very varied and each instrument group will be illuminated. Great brass sounds and the fine, playful tones in the wood will merge into unique sound experiences.
