Beschreibung
The Flower Walks app combines a hiking guide and plant identification book. The varied hike leads through Val Müstair along the banks of the Rom. It starts at the source in Tschierv and follows the course of the stream on the themed trail ‘A la riva dal Rom’ to Sta. Maria. The Rom is one of the most beautiful main valley rivers in Switzerland and the only one that is not used to generate electricity. Visitors can experience natural vegetation communities typical of mountain streams, such as species-rich fens and enchanted alluvial forests as well as colourful flower meadows and semi-arid grasslands. This diversity provides a habitat for countless animal and plant species. For example, the fire lily, the spotted monkshood and various orchids can be discovered.
