The barbecue area is located directly at the creek bed of the Isel. Here you can admire the wild nature of the Arosa mountains at close range. While the fire becomes an ember, you can use the stones from the riverbed to form creative stone men. A real natural playground for young and old.

The Rhaetian Railway runs every hour from Chur to Arosa (also in the opposite direction). On arrival at Arosa station, a road leads towards Untersee, which you can do on foot or by local bus. From the Untersee lido, follow the hiking trail in the direction of the Isel. After the ARA (sewage treatment plant), cross the river bed with the suspension bridge and then walk along the stream bed to the Schiesshorn barbecue site. The barbecue site is directly behind the Wettsteinhütte fireplace.
Anfahrt
From Chur via the winding Arosa road to the end of the valley in Arosa. It is recommended that you leave your car in the village and travel on from there by bus and on foot.
Parken
At the entrance to the village there are large signs indicating the various parking options. We recommend the Ochsenbühl multi-storey car park. A limited number of parking spaces are available in the Isel.
