Fimberpass

For thousands of years, the pass has been important for shepherds and cattle. The word "Fimber" means something like "fat, productive pastures".But the pass was not important for cattle transports, goods began to be transported early on: Wine from the southern Valtellina, sheep's wool from northern Italy, rice, grain or colonial goods. The fact that the movement of goods could be arranged without any problems was thanks to the people of Ischgl and Sent, who ensured that the pass remained passable and navigable.
