Fil da Rueun

You could make a round trip out of it. However, due to the sparse public transport connections, this is rather challenging to plan. That's why we recommend planning the tour either from the sunny mountain village of Siat or from the Sogn Francestg chapel, on the road to Pigniu.

You climb continuously over alpine meadows. But it never gets boring, because the regular steeper slopes require good route planning and keep the mind awake. The view becomes more and more magnificent the higher you go. Tanned stables with their warm wooden facades regularly invite you to take a break.

We end the route description here at P.2322. However, you could continue along the Fil da Rueun - depending on the avalanche danger, weather development and condition.

The tour can be cancelled at any time. Many turn around in the area of Alp da Rueun. Thus, the tour can be individually adapted.

The stop at the Ustria Steila in Siat is a good end to the tour.

Caution wildlife rest area: The area between the route descriptions (Run Sut, Valdun) is a wildlife rest area and access is prohibited from 20/12 to 15/04.
