Feuerstelle/Grillplatz: Lag da Pigniu / Wasserfälle

Tables and benches are available next to the fireplace. There is also a fountain in the immediate vicinity.

You can reach the picnic area in a good quarter of an hour from the car park under the dam wall on a good gravel road along the reservoir. The idyllic place is also easily accessible by bike.

The waterfalls fall only a good hundred meters away over steep rock faces into the valley. When the snow melts in spring and early summer, they are particularly impressive.

The fireplace can be approx. mid-May to the end of October. Before and after, there will be snow at this altitude at best. The road along the reservoir is often buried with avalanches and is only passable again in late spring.

Attention: The fireplace can also be reached on the opposite side of the lake via a narrow hiking trail. The bridge at the end of the lake will be dismantled for the period from late autumn to spring (avalanche trains). Please check during this time if the trail is open.
