The well-furnished fire pit is located on a historic footpath lined with dry stone walls. On hot days you will find enough shade under the rustling birch trees. To the west, the view is clear of the meadow of Salaplauna and of the whole village with the imposing monastery.
The square can be reached from Disentis train station in just 15 minutes. (suitable for prams)
