Welcome to the castle! We offer you holiday apartments "Im Schloss" (old, rustic house) in the village center of Nufenen. The small, idyllic mountain village offers pure nature and is still centrally located thanks to the A13 (post bus stop can be reached in 2 minutes). Seating is available around the house (depending on the sun!). There is also a farm shop in the house or a shopping facility in the village. In summer: Our guests are cordially invited to take a look around our barn and lend a hand. Accompany the goats from the pasture to the barn in the evening and help with milking. In spring and autumn, our cows can be visited on the pasture. There is a beautiful valley hiking trail towards Sufers and Hinterrhein. It is very suitable for families, leisurely hikers and bike tours. Barbecues in the Black Forest with a beautiful fireplace and two football goals for young and old are of course not to be missed!! Of course, there are also high-altitude hiking trails to the surrounding peaks for more challenging tours. Visit the climbing park in San Bernardino, museums, churches and castles, Viamala Gorge, Roffla Gorge, etc... In winter: In Nufenen there is a 1.5 km toboggan run as well as direct access to the winter hiking trail that leads to the various villages in the valley (Hinterrhein, Medels, Splügen and Sufers). We are also very popular for ski tours. In Splügen, which is only a 5-minute drive away, 30 kilometres of slopes in the Splügen-Tambo ski area guarantee you skiing fun for young and old (Swiss Ski and Snow Sports School available). Or enjoy the valley landscape at over 1400 m above sea level with 40 km of cross-country ski slopes from Splügen to Nufenen (directly from our house). You are welcome to visit us in the stable, we cordially invite you to help! The thermal baths in Andeer offer a relaxing change from the snowy (or rainy in summer) days.
