Beschreibung

From the valley station of the Fanas cable car (920 m above sea level), the winter hike leads through Fanas up towards Plandadein, where a stopover in the cosy Plandadein Beizli is always worthwhile. The route continues via Aldur to Cania (1368 m above sea level), the highest point of the hike. Here you have the possibility to take the cable car down to the valley or to reach Fanas again on foot or by toboggan via Rueboden. The hike can also be tackled with a cable car ride to Plandadein or Cania and crowned with a toboggan run from Aldur.

Geheimtipp

A visit to the cozy Plandadein Beizli is always worthwhile. The winter trail can also be used as a toboggan run from Aldur and Cania (via Rueboden). If you want to combine the hike with a cable car ride, you have the option of getting on or off at Plandadein or Cania.

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel

With the RhB Rhaetian Railway to Grüsch Grüsch or Schiers and then with the PostBus to Fanas. (timetable fields 90.203 / 90.211).

Anreise Information

Take the A13 motorway to Landquart. In Landquart take exit no. 14 in the direction of Landquart, Davos, Vereina. After the Chlus tunnel, take the 1st exit Grüsch/Fanas. In Grüsch, turn off in the centre of the village onto the mountain road towards Fanas. After the sign, follow the signs for the cable car.

Parken

For 10 hours free of charge at the Fanas schoolhouse or at the valley station of the Fanas cable car.
