Exhibition Anavon Casa Vinavon in Ilanz

After the Dominican Sisters of Ilanz have been actively involved in the region for more than 150 years - be it as founders of the Ilanz Regional Hospital, as directors of the surrounding kindergartens or retirement homes or as initiators of various schools - it is now time to deal with the upcoming internal challenges.
Actively working on the future is the motto. A future that is finite for the Dominican Sisters in Ilanz: in terms of the number of sisters as well as in terms of financial resources.
The regional population is invited to deal with the issues, first using the example of the "casa vinavon" property, which is to be used for new use or conversion. In 2023, the students of the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons, Bachelor's degree in Architecture, researched the possibilities suitable for this property in their final theses.
The exciting and architecturally creative results are shown in this exhibition and during the tour you can get involved in the monastic atmosphere.
