In the midst of an imposing Alpine backdrop, the Etzlihütte is located about 70 meters above the Müllersmatt, where crystal-clear mountain streams converge from different sides. The hut is the ideal starting point for mountain hikes, alpine, climbing and high-altitude tours. Its central location in the Uri Alps also makes the Etzlihütte the ideal stage destination on hikes from hut to hut.
In winter, the area offers a majority of medium to challenging tours for ski tourists and snowshoeers.
Boarding from Rueras through Val Milar: 3.5 hours
Access from Sedrun via Alp Caschlé- Chrüzli Pass: 5.5 hours (Val Strem is closed)
