Beschreibung
From Litzirüti you walk in a southeasterly direction along the old path along the stream to the Eggelti and on to the village ji (1658 m above sea level), the first Walser settlement of St. Antönien, which today comprises three small buildings. At Dörfji you cross the stream and climb towards the legendary Schlangenstein, and then turn right at the end of the forest. Heading southwest, you reach the Jenazer Alp (Säss) at 1941m. From this shepherd's hut, the route goes south to point 2204. Over the ridge the summit of the Eggberg is reached. The descent into the Gafiental takes place in the area of the ascent track.
attention! The slopes in the direction of St. Antönien may not be used - it is the Wildruhezone Eggberg-Ischa. Thank you for respecting the nature!

In excellent snow conditions, the descent towards Ascherina is worthwhile (pay attention to wildlife rest zones).

Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel
Take the Rhaetian Railway RhB to Schiers or Küblis and by post bus to St. Antönien Rüti or Platz. (timetable field 90.218 or 90.222) From St. Antönien Platz about 20 minutes walk along the mountain road to Rüti.
Anreise Information
Take the A13 and the N28 to Küblis, then follow the Luzeinerstrasse to Pany / St. Antönien.
Parken
In St. Antönien all parking spaces are subject to a charge. In the parking lots you can pay with cash, Parkingpay app, Easy-Park or Twint. The last parking lot (P5) is located at St. Antönien Rüti.
