Edelweiss Trail on the Pizol

The trail leads from the mountain station Pardiel along the reservoir Suntigweid and on to the mountain station Schwamm. We pass eight life-size Edelweiss steles where questions about the alpine flowers are asked in a guessing game. The Speichersee is a particularly good place to linger: there are several rustic alpine baskets and barbecue areas with breathtaking views;

At the Wissi Stei viewpoint at the Schwamm mountain station, another highlight awaits us, a large picture frame in front of which great photos can be taken;

From the Pardiel mountain station, head towards Alpstübli Pizol and continue following the signs towards Wissi Stei. From here the trail curves southwards back to our starting point.
