The tour climbs from Bad Ragaz in a first ascent past the Cristo statue at Wartenstein Castle to the village of Pfäfers. The baroque monastery church and the spectacular Tamina Bridge are worth a short stay before the descent down to Landquart offers a view of the Chur Rhine Valley. After crossing the Graubünden Rhine Valley, the tour continues through the Graubünden dominion via the wine villages of Malans and Jenins to the Original Heidi Village. The "Dörfli" from Johanna Spyri's world-famous novel welcomes you on an emotional journey through time to the Swiss mountains of the 19th century. The path then leads over tarred and gravel roads to the wine-growing village of Fläsch, which was awarded the Wakker Prize in 2010. Through the sun-drenched vineyards we descend to the Rhine. On the Rhine dam we reach the Giessenpark and our starting point, the Tamina Therme Bad Ragaz.

Bad Ragaz can be reached by public transport in just over an hour from St. Gallen and Zurich. The train station is a 15-minute walk from the Tamina Therme. The Postbus stops directly in front of the Tamina Therme.
