E-Bike Castle Sargans

After the start in Bad Ragaz, the leisurely tour leads past the airfield, the mountain station of the Pizolbahn and the Saar Falls to Vilters. Along the Grossbach, the Rhine valley is crossed before the short ascent to Sargans Castle has to be mastered. The castle embodies two hundred years of county and more than three centuries of varied Vögt reign. The Count's Castle is home to one of the most important local history museums in Europe and is a witness to the local history of Sarganserland.   In addition, the castle offers wonderful views of the surrounding villages and the mountains. After a short descent to the entrance of the Gonzen iron ore mine, where the Romans already mined iron ore, the tour crosses the Sarganser Au. Along the Rhine dam it goes to the Giessenpark Bad Ragaz and back to the starting point at the Tamina Therme Bad Ragaz.
