Beschreibung
The route starts in Matt in the Sernftal and leads into the wild Krauchtal. At point 1105 the road branches off to the left to Weissenberge. The route leads in a loop on the Weissenberge sun terrace to the Edelwyss mountain inn. The Alice and Heiri Marti-Tischhauser family attach great importance to regional products and use eggs as well as lamb, beef and pork from their own farm. The way back is along the road into the Krauchtal and back to Matt.

Take part in the E-Bike Pickling Trophy: Collect stamps at 7 mountain pubs and receive a culinary greeting at the end of the season.

Ausrüstung
Normal bike equipment. Functional clothing is an advantage, as a longer climb is followed by an equally long descent.
Anfahrt
Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel
From Zurich or Chur, take the train in the direction of Ziegelbrücke. In Ziegelbrücke change to the regional train to Schwanden. At Schwanden station there is a transfer to the bus of Autobetrieb Sernftal AG to Matt to the valley station of the Matt-Weissenberge cable car.
Please make sure to make a bike transport reservation when operating the bus.
Anreise Information
From Zurich or Chur along the A3 motorway to the A44 exit. Then follow the main road through the Glarus region (Näfels, Glarus) to Schwanden. Branch off into the Sernftal valley in the direction of Elm to Matt to the valley station of the Matt-Weissenberge cable car.
Parken
Free parking is available at the valley station of the Matt-Weissenberge cable car.
