Davos Landscape Trail

Since 1998, the information panels on the Davos Landscape Trail (Landschaftsweg) have been leading curious and interested hikers and walkers through the history of Davos and giving them an idea of the current situation.

First and foremost, the municipality hopes that the Davos Landscape Trail will make people aware of the landscape. The aim is to bring guests closer to the wonderful diversity of the Davos landscape. This is done, firstly, by providing information on natural, historical and cultural issues, which are of major, political and environmental importance for the development of the town. On the other hand, the information panels also deliver simple natural knowledge, much of which comes from research work conducted in or on the Davos landscape. The Landscape Trail is intended to stimulate a conversation about the present and future of the town.
