The fireplace is located directly behind the Crap Carschenna viewpoint and is situated in a forest clearing.
The fireplace is accessible via the hiking trail Sils i.D. - Hohen Rätien - Carschenna. Firewood must be brought by yourself or collected in the forest. Please take the waste back with you, there is no disposal facility.

Access to the vicinity of the fireplace is permitted with a permit. This is issued by the municipality of Sils i.D. or the Gasthaus Post in Sils i.D.
