The Church of Santo Stefano is a baroque religious building located in the heart of the village of Castaneda.
Beschreibung
The parish church of St. Stephen was first mentioned in 1544, later rebuilt and reconsecrated in 1633. Over the years, a nave and a bell tower were built. In the choir there is a painting from 1636 in an original Renaissance frame depicting Christ the Redeemer. Inside, there are still traces of various decorations from the 17th century.
