Chapel Disentis Sedrun
Chapel of St. Joseph, Cumpadials

Beschreibung
The baroque chapel with barrel vaults is oriented to the west. The chancel is three-sided. The wall structure is defined by pilasters, above which runs a continuous entablature. A small tower with an octagonal spire is placed on the steep gable roof.
The chapel in Cumpadials has three baroque wooden altars. The main altar features a painting of the Holy Family, flanked by two columns angled outward, dating from around 1700. To the sides of the high altar stand statues of St. Martin and St. Sigisbert. The various-sized figures on the entablatures were likely taken from an older altar. The relic display stands above the arches are crafted in the Rococo style. The two side altars were created around 1670-1680. The left side altar depicts St. Anna with her daughter Mary and her grandchild Jesus, along with a nun (perhaps St. Brida). The right side altar shows a depiction of the apostles Peter and Paul.
