The chapel of St. Anthony of Padua is located at the southern entrance to the village, right next to the cantonal road.

Beschreibung

The year of construction of the small church at the southern entrance to the village is estimated to be 1771 based on a picture dedicated to the chapel. The room, measuring around 3 x 4 m, faces east and a profiled stucco cornice runs around the entire room. The floor is covered with grouted stone slabs. The chapel has a wooden door on the west side, above which a glazed lunette is cut out in the façade. It is the only window in the chapel. An ornate iron cross rises above the entrance and the altar with two side extensions takes up the entire width of the chapel. In an oval medallion stands the sculptural half figure of the chapel's patron saint with the infant Jesus. He carries the child in his left arm and holds a palm branch in his right hand. The two marbled wooden pillars on either side of the altar bear a dissolved roof in which the radiant sun with the monogram of Christ can be seen.
