Centrale idroelettrica Cavaglia

The power plant is the second of three stages in the Lago Bianco-Robbia cascade. In the years 2015 to 2017, the Cavaglia power plant was optimized (pressure increase), the impeller of the Pelton machine was replaced, thus increasing production. The Cavaglia power plant can be used in tandem with the headquarters in Palü or separately. The Pelton machine from 1927 still performs its task today and produces around 21 gigawatt hours of electricity per year with an installed capacity of seven megawatts.
