Beschreibung
From the village of Danis, you can take a leisurely walk to Zaniz on a small road. Now it is partly a little steeper up the hiking trail in the sunny forest to the Casti Grotta (ruin Kropfenstein). The remains of the wall are daringly embedded in the overhanging rock faces. But don't worry, the access is well secured and safe for you to walk on. The route continues to Waltensburg, where the Waltensburg master left his artistic mark on the Reformed Church. The descent towards the Rhine is relatively steep over a short distance. If you've had enough of hiking on the valley floor, take the train back to Tavanasa and walk to the starting point in Danis. If you still like, you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the Polenweg back to Danis.
