Beschreibung

The manor house is the most magnificent building in the municipality and a typical Graubünden manor house from the 17th century. The house as it presents itself today must have been built at the end of the 18th century. The building has a mansard roof. This roof, named after the French architect J.H. Mansart (1648 - 1708), allows sloping roof spaces. In addition, it has two shell towers or open wall towers at the front, which are provided with an onion roof covered with shingles. During the complete restoration in 1970, however, it was found that the building fabric is much older and that the building has been enlarged several times. The house has belonged to the De Latour family since at least 1700. It was sold to a Derungs family in 1850 and is now inherited by the Giacun Antoni and Mirella Vinzens-Moro family. The house is now used by holiday groups or for camps.
