Buachlada Kunfermann

In business for 40 years and still passionate about it: Agnes Tscharner and Lorenz Kunfermann never expected this when they opened their "Buach- und Plattalädali Kunfermann" on 13 November 1981 without any grand plans and, above all, without a business concept. They were actually just looking for a cookery book with a recipe for fillet in batter in Thusis - without success. They couldn't find John Lennon's record either. So, without further ado, they decided to fill this gap in the market with books and records.

In the meantime, the "Buach- und Plattalädali" became "Buachlada Kunfermann AG", the records gave way to more books and Lorenz Kunfermann and Agnes Tscharner stopped eating meat. And after 40 years in business, it was time for the next chapter. In November 2021, Flurina and Lucas Kunfermann took over the management - a Buachlada Kunfermann 2.0, so to speak.

Thanks to the trust of the older generation and the younger generation's willingness to take risks, they can continue to serve their long-standing customers.
