Berschnerfall

The Berschner fall above Berschis near Walenstadt is 46m high and is a so-called "isolated case" according to the waterfall type category. It is well hidden, but no less impressive. From the village of Berschis, it takes about 25 minutes to hike into a small ravine, where, after a bend around a small rock, the Berschner Falls suddenly pile up in front of the visitor.
An information stele in the village of Berschis informs about the Berschner Falls and shows the way on site. The information stele is located in the village at the intersection of Bachsandweg - Cavortschstrasse on the way to St. Georgenhügel.
Tip: Visit the waterfall in spring when the snow melts or after heavy rains.
