Bergün

Bergün is a street village and lies at an altitude of 1,373 m above sea level. The houses are lined up on both sides of the village street, with oriels and sgraffiti facades facing the street where pass traffic, trade and communication take place. The square tower "La tuor" dominates the village scene. Built as an escape and defence tower, it was even converted into a prison at the time of the railway construction.

The mountain village is situated on the famous UNESCO RhB Albula-Berninaline, which offers an unforgettable experience with spectacular viaducts and helical tunnels. Railway fans can also learn about the history of the Rhaetian Railway at the Albula Railway Museum.
