Bargis round tour

Nestled between the limestone walls of the Flimsteins and the steep slopes of Lavadignas, opens a magnificent plateau. Bargis is located at around 1150 meters and is easily reached by shuttle bus from Flims Post. Through the car-free and snow-sure valley flows the mountain stream Aua da Mulins. The creek, which forms the natural boundary between Trin and Flims, follows mostly the winter hiking trail. At Bargis, the Aua da Mulins flows into the Turniglastream, which flows down to Trin Mulin. Exactly where the waters merge, they are crossed twice from the winter hiking trail. Away from the hustle and bustle, this leads to the right of the stream deeper into the valley. Turning at the Alp Bargis, the route crosses the stream again and follows it on the other side back to the starting point.

Bargis high valley is a dream for families and cross-country skiers. At the bus stop Flims Dorf Post you take the shuttle bus which will drive you directly to the high valley Bargis, situated at 1550 meters above sea level. Far away from all the hustle and bustle, you will find the starting point of the winter hiking path that leads you along the creek back to restaurant Bargis. The flat path is ideal for families and elderly people and offers a spectacular view due to the surrounding mountains.
