Badus hut

Only a 20-minute hike separates the source of the Rhine (Lake Toma) from the Badus hut! While savouring the view of the Piz Badus from the terrace, you can sip a traditional coffee with alcohol or enjoy a hearty soup of the day. In springtime, the meadows are a carpet of flowers, and in summer you might have curious goats come by and inspect you. Easy climbing routes are set up on the cliffs behind the hut. You can test your flexibility and strength on the “Poschautokante”, for example. Basic sleeping accommodation is available for tired hikers, and the hut team whips up nourishing evening meals that can be enhanced with ingredients that you bring along. Hiking time: 2.5 hours (mountain route)
