The permanent training facility for the search with avalanche transceivers (avalanche transceivers) is located below the mountain houses at the back of the Partnuntal in St. Antönien. The facility makes it possible for all interested parties to train the search for avalanche victims with their avalanche transceivers under realistic conditions.
Beschreibung
More and more people are enjoying the winter away from marked slopes, be it with touring skis or, more and more often, with snowshoes. In these activities, it is essential to be able to correctly assess the situation in terms of weather, snow conditions and avalanche risk. A large number of providers offer various courses, but what always remains is a residual risk. In order to be prepared for the worst-case scenario, you should use state-of-the-art avalanche transceivers and train the use of the equipment again and again. Because nothing is as important as the quick rescue of comrades with the avalanche transceiver in an emergency. The first 3 minutes are vital for the victim's survival.
The ascent to the mountain huts takes about an hour and is ideally done on touring skis or snowshoes. The path to the mountain houses is paved and can therefore also be used as a winter hiking trail. The return can then be combined with a leisurely sleigh ride.

Preise
The use of the training area is free of charge. You are welcome to transfer an amount for maintenance via TWINT, thank you. However, the operators ask for advance notification so that the use can be coordinated as well as possible.

Anfahrt
On the A13 and A28 to Küblis, then turn left through the underpass towards Luzein, Pany, St. Antönien, direction Partnun to P5
Accessible from the parking lot with snowshoes, skis or on the winter hiking trail.
Parken
In St. Antönien all parking spaces are subject to a charge. In the parking lots you can pay with cash, Parkingpay app, Easy-Park or Twint.
