Important note: On Saturday, 18 October 2025, the hiking trail through the Rhine Gorge from Ilanz to Chrummwag will be closed from 08.00 to 14.30 due to the Transruinaulta.
The wooden balconies created by engineer Jürg Conzett allow great views into and down into the Rhine Gorge. The observation deck is within walking distance of Versam village.
Beschreibung
From the viewing platform - designed like two balconies - you can enjoy a unique view of the Rhine Gorge with its up to 300 m high rock walls and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Tectonic Arena Sardona. The Rhaetian Railway, which meanders along the Rhine, and the rafts and kayaks on the river, seem like toys.
The observation deck is within walking distance of Versam village. There is a post bus stop directly at the viewing platform.
The platform is accessible from May to October.
